LMS Technology Day

Middle School students and staff participated in a half day of professional development on Friday, March 25, 2011.  The learned about technology applications that can assist them in and out of the classrooms.  The topics covered in during the presentations included:

·         Creating interactive Smartboard presentations

·         How to safely use Facebook

·         Enhance your understanding through gaming

·         Diigo

·         Google Earth

·         Jing and Tutorials

·         Photo Peach

·         Gizmos

·         How to create and edit Podcasts

·         Web 2.0 tools

·         Gamestar Mechanic (Presented by 6^th grade students)

·         Finale

·         Creating and posting on a Wiki

·         LIS Technology Club (Presented by 6^th grade students)

·         File Management

·         Geometer Sketchpad
