Students in grades 3 – 10 take the Northwest Evaluation Association (NWEA) Measure of Academic Progress (MAP) test twice a year, once in the Fall and once in the Spring. The students are tested in the areas of reading and mathematics. The information gathered from this assessment is used by the teachers to identify their present levels of understanding in connection with the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards. The information is also used to provide a more targeted instruction to meet the needs of each individual student. For more information please contact the guidance department at the appropriate school.
This is a blog for students, parents and community members of Lawrence Township to keep you informed about events and news that happen around the district. This site is an additional way for parents and students to communicate with the Office of Instructional Services and each other.
